This coin commemorating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Ulysses S. Grant features a relief of President Grant on the front. The back has Grant’s Tomb with the inscription “Let us have peace.” These words, written by Grant in 1868, represented a major theme of his public career and are engraved as the epitaph of Grant’s Tomb.
