Lower Crypt Access Subject to Safe Conditions

Access to the lower crypt area of the Mausoleum is subject to closure during wet and or low light conditions in the late afternoon. The main floor and the two reliquary rooms remain open during these conditions.

Grant Day Dinner and Colloquy

The Grant Monument Association cordially invites you to a dinner commemorating the 204th Anniversary of President Ulysses S. Grant’s birth.

Dinner will be accompanied by a colloquy in which Colonel Jack Jacobs, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and author of If Not Now, When?, speaks with Gary W. Gallagher and Joan Waugh, leading Civil War scholars and co-authors of The American War: A History of the Civil War Era.
