You Are Invited to Ceremonies at Grant's Tomb Commemorating the 190th Anniversary of President Ulysses S. Grant's Birth
 
On Friday, April 27, 2012,
 join the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the National Park Service.
A remembrance ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m., and it will include a formal wreath laying ceremony and a 21-gun salute by the U.S. Military Academy Corps of Cadets and the West Point Honor guard.  In addition, the distinguished historian, author, and Columbia University professor Kenneth T. Jackson will speak on the topic of President Grant as a New Yorker.

On Sunday, April 29, 2012,
 join the Oliver Tilden Camp #26, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, for their annual commemoration of Grant's birthday.  The ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
